The Nigerian Law School formally began operations in 1963 at No. 213A Igbosere road, Lagos. As a result of growth and expansion, the school was moved to Victoria Island in 1969 and relocated to Abuja in 1997.
In 1997, the Federal Government approved the Council’s proposal to establish three campuses of the Law School in Lagos, Kano and Enugu, and even more recently in 2009 approved the establishment of two new campuses in Yola, Adamawa State and Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
