No more E in Nigerian Universities?

Have you heard? no more “E” in Nigerian Universities what does this mean?

This simply means the grade E can no more be obtained by a student in the university, previously the exam grades used to be A B C D E F but now we have A B C D F.
where:

A = 70 Above

B = 60 – 70

C = 50 – 59

D = 45 – 49

E = 40 – 44

F = 39 Below

With the removal of the grade “E” we now have:

A = 70 Above

B = 60 – 70

C = 50 – 59

D = 45 – 49

F = 44 Below

With the removal of the E grade there is no doubt that an average student will need to study harder to pass a course. For every failed course will be re-written.

We believe this will help in increasing the general performance of a student and help them graduate with better CGP.

So please have this in-mind as you step into the fore-walls of the University, the system is now more difficult and you have to put in more effort to come out with a good result.
