JAMB 2014: 2nd choice option cancelled in 2014 UTME


Latest news from JAMB today that candidates purchasing the 2014 UTME form that candidates will no more have 2nd choice option for University, Polytechnic or Colleges of Education.

This new introduction simply means you can only fill 1 University, 1 Polytechnic, 1 College of Education and 1 Computer Institute during form registration for the 2014 UTME.

Whether you intend to study in a Federal University or a State University, all these institutions have been brought under one umbrella and candidates will only be allowed to choose 1 university.

Candidates are to be much more careful while filling their registration forms as NO CHANGES CAN BE MADE ON ANY INSTITUTION ONCE THE FORM IS SUBMITTED.

Newly introduced institutes are said to be sort of monotechnics.

    1. Jamb cut off mark for poly and uni are 150 and 180. the institutions u choose will determine their own cut off marks, they can add to the jamb cut off mark, but they can’t deduct from it. Wish you best of luck

  1. Our pattern or will i say process b4 entering high institution in Nigeria is something else o…A school 4 all is a school 4 none & it seems students read 2 know,students don’t read 2 pass. Nigerian students needs God’s divine intarvention o…hmmm what a coun3,anyway sha God dey. Abeg leaders help Nigerian students cos Education they say is the key o. We dey 4 God hands.

    1. Is’t true that everything nw in School is Indegen Indegen . me I have Change my mind ooooh . plz if I put UNIZIK. will the admission be possible 4 me?

    1. Will jamb reject me because i didn’t include maths in the subjects i will write in jamb and i choose sociology as my choice of course?
