Applicants who  have WASSCE/SSSCE aggregate 36 or 24 or better from any of the existing Elective Areas are eligible to apply

 BSc. Information & Communication Technology

 Areas of Concentration

  • Data Communication and Networking
  • Software Engineering
  • Business Information Systems

Applicants should have Elective Mathematics or grade C4 or better in Core Mathematics.

BSc. Mathematics

  • BSc. Mathematics with Statistics & Operational Research
  • BSc. Mathematics with Accounting and Finance
  • BSc. Mathematics (Applied Mathematics)

Applicants should have Elective Mathematics or grade C4 or better in Core Mathematics.

BSc. Agribusiness

Areas of concentration:

  • Agro-Processing
  • Post- Harvest Technology
  • Livelihood Enhancement Programmes
  • Agro-Marketing Management

Applicants should have Science/Agricultural background from any of the following background:

WASSCE/SSSCE holders should have General Science or General Agriculture

Ordinary Level: Science/Agricultural Science/General Science

Diploma/ HND Holders from any Accredited Agricultural College will be placed in Level 200 or 300 after an interview

BSc. Business Economics

Areas of Concentration:

  • The Programme combines Economics (macro and micro economics theories) Business Management and Finance/Accountancy. Thus it draws insight from these disciplines in order to equip students with essential skills to meet the demands of contemporary world of business.

WASSCE/SSSCE Two of the Applicant’s Elective Subjects should be in Economics and Mathematics; or grade C4/C or better in Core Mathematics.

AKUAPEM CAMPUS:

B.A. Rural & Community Development (Development Studies)

Areas of Concentration:

  • Development Planning
  • Environment and Development
  • Gender and Development
  • NGO Management
  • Water and Sanitation Management
  • Community Development
  • Economic Development
  • Agriculture and Development

Applicants should possess the requisite aggregate from any of the WASSCE/SSSCE Elective Groupings.

 

 BSc. Environmental and Natural Resources Management

Areas of Concentration

  • Forestry Resources Management
  • Environmental and Public Health
  • Water Resources Management and Administration
  • Environmental Reclamation and Rehabilitation

The Programme is open to

WASSCE/SSSCE holders with General Science/General Agriculture/General Arts background

LONG VACATION MODULAR PROGRAMME (2014/2015 Academic Year): This is an intensive programme which gives candidates the opportunity to do One Academic Year’s Work in 15 Weeks

Long Modular programmes will be on offer for the following programmes: BSc. Environmental and Natural Resources Management; BSc. Rural and Community Development, BSc. Agribusiness and BSc. Business Administration (Tema Campus Only). It will commence on 7th June 2015

    1. General Entry Requirement for WASSCE/SSSCE Applicants:

WASSCE Applicants must have Aggregate 36 or better (Grade A1-C6) and SSSCE Applicants must have Aggregate 24 or better (Grade A-D) in English Language, Mathematics Integrated Science or Social Studies plus any Three Relevant Electives Three Core Subjects and Three Elective Subjects

Integrated Science will be used to calculate the aggregate of Applicants who apply for the following programmes: BSc Mathematics, BSc Information and Communication Technology, BSc Environmental and Natural Resources Management, BSc Physicians Assistants and BSc Nursing.

Social Studies or Integrated Science will be used to calculate the aggregate of applicant who apply for BSc Rural and Community Development and BSc Business Administration.

  1. RSA III/ABEC/GBCE/HND Applicants are eligible to enrol in all Programmes except the BSc Nursing and BSc Physician Assistant Programmes
  2. MATURE APPLICANTS

Mature Applicants for all other programmes must have attained a minimum age of 27 years. A candidate with any minimum level of education is eligible to apply. Only All candidates must pass entrance examination in English and Mathematics.

Re-Opening Date for the January Admission Module is Friday 2nd February, 2015

Submission of Application Form

After completion of the online application process, a “Corroborative Declaration Form” will be generated. You are required to print, get endorsed by a respectable person and submitted to the Registrar, Presbyterian University College, Ghana, P.O Box 59, Abetifi-Kwahu, to complete the application process.. The closing date for submission of completed application form is 30th January, 2015
